In 2021, my production company secured a $500k contract to promote Rural Letter Carriers of America's (RLCA) health insurance package. Instead of traditional infomercials, we proposed a series of engaging videos set in the charming neighborhood of Mr. Reynolds.
Using puppet characters and friendly personas, we transformed complex health insurance concepts into lively, approachable content distributed weekly via email channels.
Thorough market research informed the creation of twenty-three scripts addressing specific challenges faced by RLCA employees. During a five-day shoot, we built a detailed neighborhood set with custom puppets, capturing all concepts within budget.
Post-production, including color grading and sound design, resulted in a collection of videos that resonated with RLCA members, significantly increasing engagement with their health plan and encouraging greater utilization of health benefits.
